The 2008 GUI Championships, the latest iteration of the world’s largest GUI customization competition, is quickly approaching. This fall skinners from all over the globe will compete in one of three main events for their shot at hardware, software and cash prizes totaling near $10,000!
For the last few months we’ve been letting out little teasers here and there about what we’re going to be doing with this year’s event. Today, I’m happy to reveal some of the contest details to everyone, so skinners can begin to prepare their masterpieces early. In 2006, there were complaints that there wasn’t enough warning on the contest, so this year we’re giving you all months to prepare!

How to say....I..I was just soooooo lucky to win the Best Overall Skinner of the GUI Championship 2006...
The past few months will definitely be kept at the bottom of my brain for years~
Fighting against sleep at midnight, chatting with friends about works of each other, replying comments and advice from the internet. All the things I experienced are my precious memories!
礼拜一晚上看到拿奖了真的很高兴，情不自禁地yep了一下。获奖是很偶然的，也说明不了啥，但至少现在我觉得过去这段日子的付出还是值得的，那n多个熬夜还是有所回报的。
现在已经开始怀念那几天的时光了～虽然压力很大，但是也的确对自己是一种提高，一种高压环境下的自我调节，很高兴能和一帮朋友共度那段日子，特别感谢Dexter, Hiboo,骑士, Maxdison, bearbearhj, Albin, Rokey, Sunx, Kiro等等等等一大帮朋友的帮助和鼓励，能认识你们我真的很高兴

Best Overall Wallpaper Winners

It's hard to believe that I won the 2nd and 4th place of the Best Overall Wallpaper in GUI Championships 2006....Seems like they finally started to announce the restult of the rest events.
Anyway, congrats to all the winners and it's really pity that I still didn't see the S-Force eagle by homeyulo in the prize list....
